-Naturopathic medicine - general medication with evaluation and management of you and your health conditions; acute and chronic illness, wellness, preventative medicine, specialized care, and individualized treatment plans.
Note: Appointments typically 60 min - with about 5-10 hours outside of the face to face where I input new information into system for new patients, charting, med-herb interaction checks, manually entering in laboratory or imaging testing orders, up to date research check, reviewing currently used medications, supplements, herbs, allergens, intolerances, and dietary preferences - to produce an individualized treatment plan.
***After hearing about treatment plan options including supplements and labs discussed during your appointment - please let Dr. Brown-Echerd know if you are not interested in receiving the supplements or lab orders, so that the number of hours spent outside of the visit are preserved for other tasks - this is in response to an influx of patients not following treatment plan recommendations from Dr. Brown-Echerd as a qualified healthcare provider providing medical services as a licensed doctor.
***Also note that due to being a licensed provider information from the CDC and other standards are care will be shared, as applicable, such as current vaccine schedules - due to rules, regulations, ethics, and requirements of licensed providers in certain jurisdictions, to provide this information with explanations and scientific evidenced based data. It is up to the patient to decide what to do with this information and with recommedations.

-Limited access - Naturopathic obstetric (ND midwifery) out of hospital birthing services - certified in Oregon and Vermont as primary doctor - lead provider, prenatal and postpartum visits, well baby visits, pediatrics, and delivery at birth
-Birth assistant in Maryland, and other states/DC as applicable. I.e. I have the required certifications to participate as a birth assistant in Maryland with a licensed CPM or CNM as the lead.
-Other birth services* or locations- contact me at [email protected] for doula client services; certified SMC Fullcircle - birth and postpartum including at least 1 pre-natal. Birth plan support available as part of package or stand alone. Birth classes available! ...individual/family or group classes.

-Trans-gender health
-Counseling, resources and referral - ND lifestyle counseling with holistic approach - mind, body, soul. ND counseling as part of the general medical visit or as a stand alone service where records are kept separate from the physical medical charts. Inquire for more information.
-Limited - Physical exams all ages; including sports physicals
-Motor vehicle accident - evaluation, medical work-up, physical exams, imaging orders, house calls available.
-Limited - Workmans comp *may* be available in some places
