Greetings from Oregon USA.
It is a day to celebrate and relax; if possible. There are so many people on social media posting pictures of themselves with family and friends doing activities such as camping, boating, river floating, going to concerts, parades, BBQs, participating in running events and just hanging out with others and enjoying each other's company. Currently, I'm sitting home feeling exhausted and bored. I am home with my kids and want to make them some good foods. I don't eat the same foods as they do because of food intolerances; but that's okay! I am wanting to wish everyone a happy holiday and to think about what to be grateful for on this day of freedom. Some have been affected by the slavery and bound by addictions, domestic violence, internal self turmoil. The country symbolized freedom and rewards our troops and Veteran's and often allows them to feel the honor they deserve. If you have become clean and sober from alcoholism or other substances, if you have left a relationship that was not healthy, or been dealing with long-term grief from the loss of a loved one or from history of abuse, find your spiritual self and come to terms with where you are now so that you can accept this and attract inner peace. Ask for help, share your feelings with someone you can trust, ask your Higher Power to guide you. You have woken up this morning with a beating heart and breathing lungs. Allow your mess to become someone else's message and grow in this time for the better. God Bless! GHI Comments are closed.
